Food & Nourishment
Note from our Chef Bea:
"My cooking is rooted in a deep respect for nature, seasonality, and the incredible abundance of the Canary Islands. I work as much as possible with local, organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown under the island sun.
Each meal is a balance of nourishment and creativity, inspired by the diverse culinary influences I’ve encountered through my travels. Spices, textures, and traditions from different parts of the world subtly find their place in my kitchen, allowing every dish to tell a story.
During retreats, I stay in close observation of the group’s rhythm and needs. I listen. I adapt. Whether you seek something grounding, energising, light or comforting, my intention is always to meet you where you are, offering food that supports your experience fully.
The result is a vibrant, plant-based cuisine that feels both generous and gentle – a moment to pause, share, and feel at home, wherever you are.
Meals are always vegetarian and often available in vegan and gluten-free versions to ensure everyone feels included and nourished."

Our Teaching Approach
Our approach to flexibility is creative, intelligent, and rooted in years of experience across multiple movement disciplines. Blending the best of yoga, contortion, dance, and therapeutic practices, we offer a training style that’s both expansive and sustainable. We place a strong emphasis on understanding the mechanics and anatomy behind each pose, helping you break movements down into targeted areas so you can identify where your body needs support or attention. This gives you the tools to work more efficiently and safely in your own practice.
Once the foundations are clear, we shift into creative transitions and playful sequencing, encouraging you to explore movement in new and innovative ways. We’re both highly experienced in hands-on assists and adjustments, and we love integrating a wide range of props in unconventional and creative ways to support, challenge, or inspire your movement.
This retreat is open to anyone with a passion for movement—yoga practitioners and teachers, aerialists, dancers, pole artists, or simply curious movers who want to explore flexibility in a deeper, smarter way. There’s no one-size-fits-all formula here. Instead, you’ll leave with a practice that’s intelligent, personalized, and rooted in both strength and creativity.

Retreat Schedule
Each day of the retreat is thoughtfully structured to help you explore and deepen your flexibility practice, combining intelligent technique with playful creativity. Mornings begin with a 90-minute practice to awaken the body, build consistency, and connect breath with movement.
In the afternoons, we’ll dive into a 2-hour workshop focused on a specific flexibility theme. These sessions offer an in-depth breakdown of poses, including modifications, advancements, and creative transitions. You’ll also explore assisting and adjusting techniques, the innovative use of props, and how to adapt each posture to suit your body’s unique structure and needs—making the work personal, empowering, and sustainable.
Here’s what we’ll cover throughout the week:
-
Day 1 – Front Splits & Ankle Catches
Focus on lunge variations and dancer pose transitions to open the hips and build hamstring resilience.
-
Day 2 – Wheel & Camel Variations
Explore heart-opening shapes through spinal extension, shoulder rotation, and dropback progressions.
-
Day 3 – Forward Folds, Middle Splits & Straddles
Strengthen and lengthen through folds and straddles, with playful upside-down options like straddle-based inversions.
-
Day 4 – Cobra & Scorpion Variations
Dive into deep backbends and transitions, including chest stand, croc, pincha, and handstand integrations.
-
Day 5 – External Rotation & Thai Flow Therapy
A more restorative focus on hips, partner work, and hands-on mobility techniques inspired by Thai massage and assisted stretching.
Whether you’re looking to refine your teaching, expand your personal practice, or simply learn something new, each day is designed to leave you feeling stronger, more open, and deeply inspired.
About us

Rebecca was introduced to yoga through physical theatre and performance. As a performer she was initially attracted to the physical side of yoga and how it could be used as a tool for creative expression. After her 200h YTT in hatha followed by an additional 200 hours in ashtanga, she discovered a passion for creativity in different styles of movement disciplines. This interest was channelled into further trainings, including 200 hours of Yogic Arts with Duncan Wong (a fusion of martial arts, Thai massage and yoga), 50 hours Tripsichore Yoga Choreography, contortion, callisthenics, and circus arts. She has taught workshops, retreats and teacher trainings in over 20 different countries across four continents. This includes her signature training ‘The Art of Flex-ability’ which combines drills, assists, and transitions inspired by yoga, contortion, dance and Thai massage.
Rebecca’s intention as a teacher is to help students discover presence through play, teaching sequences that are fun, innovative, creative and smart. She believes in a strong focus on developing the strength to safely support flexibility, while using movement as a tool for mindfulness, communication, creativity and self-expression.

Magda combines elements of yoga, stretching, and contortion to create practices that are both enjoyable and, while still rooted in traditional yogic principles. Her classes are designed to enhance mobility and flexibility through a thoughtful blend of movement, breathwork, and meditative elements.
Known for her creative use of props, Magda brings a playful yet intentional approach to practice. She also places a strong emphasis on mindset, helping students build positive beliefs around movement and explore the full potential of their bodies.
Magda is a 500 RYT Yoga Alliance certified teacher specializing in flexibility and increasing end ranges of motion. She has led workshops in over a dozen of the largest cities in Poland and also teaches internationally. Her four online courses used by hundreds of practitioners, mostly fellow teachers, and she is a guest teacher in two 200-hour teacher training programs.

Travel & Transfers
The closest airport is Gran Canaria Airport (LPA), which is approximately a 30–40 minute drive from the retreat venue in Ayagaures.
Transfers are not included in the retreat price, as participants will be arriving from different locations and at different times. Once we know everyone’s travel plans, we’ll help coordinate shared transfers and group arrivals where possible. This service is optional and any transfer costs will be paid directly by participants.
We also highly recommend hiring a car for the duration of the retreat, especially if you’d like to explore the surrounding area in your free time. The beach is around a 15-minute drive away, and having a car makes it much easier to get the most out of your stay. We’ll help facilitate car shares between participants to keep things simple and affordable.
Let us know if you’d like support arranging transport or connecting with others in the group to coordinate travel.

Optional Extras
We are really excited that we will have the amazing Calli Laxy with us who will be offering massages at the retreat villa throughout the week. Please find more details of the style of massage she offers below. If you are interested in booking please contact her directly via email: yoga.sound.touch@gmail.com or WhatsApp: +491636625556

Group Trips (Optional)
We know that everyone travels differently—some of you may be hiring cars and planning your own adventures, and we completely respect that. All group trips during the retreat are entirely optional, so you can join as much or as little as you like.
That said, we love creating shared experiences, and we’ll be organizing a handful of group excursions based on the interests of the group. One trip we’ve already planned is an afternoon visit to the Maspalomas Dunes, just 15 minutes away by car. It’s an incredible place to experience the sunset, and—weather permitting—we’re hoping to do a group yoga session right there in the dunes.
Once we know who’s attending, we’ll set up a WhatsApp group to keep everyone connected. In the group, we’ll share a poll so you can vote on the trips you’d most like to join. Based on that, we’ll coordinate the most popular excursions. We’re planning to organize a minibus depending on group size, and there will be an optional cost of around £100 per person to cover transport and coordination for those who’d like to take part.
Here are some of the trip options we may explore (subject to interest and weather):
-
Maspalomas Dunes & Beach – sunset views and soft sand, just 15 minutes away.
-
Puerto de Mogán – a charming coastal town perfect for a relaxed half-day outing.
-
Hiking in Fataga or local natural parks – for those up for a scenic light adventure.
-
San Bartolomé or other local villages/markets – a taste of local culture and color.
-
Playa Anfi del Mar or Playa Amadores – calm, peaceful beaches for relaxing afternoons.
-
Surfing lessons – a fun and active option if you’re looking for a bit more adventure.
-
Other ideas – we’ll also share a longer list in the WhatsApp group so people can research or make suggestions.
